I’m a Life & Health insurance agent and I’d like to share with you why I do what I do.
Today’s retirees have many common fears: fear of outliving their income and savings, fear of becoming ill, fear of needing care, fear of inflation’s impact on their income – to name a few.
My mother lived to 98 years of age. She spent her last 11 years of life in a personal care home because, though the physically healthiest person you’d ever know, she had dementia.
My mother outlived her money. She needed extended care and her Social Security check was meager, to say the least and, as a result, our care options for her were limited.
Had I known then what I know now, I could have helped my parents create a stream of income they couldn’t outlive, similar to Social Security and pensions (which they didn’t have), and to have a plan for my mother to pay for extended care in the way she deserved.
It’s now my mission to help others protect the monies they’ve worked their whole lives for and to turn some of that money into a stream of income they can’t outlive. I also help others get extended care plans to pay for what most of us will eventually need, if we live long enough.
I help everyone, but what is dear to my heart is helping women – single, widowed, divorced or married – to plan for their longevity. It’s common knowledge that many of us ladies are likely to outlive our partners and eventually become solo-agers. Some may have always been a solo-ager. We need to plan for the impact this can have on our finances and our care and be prepared for longevity in the best way possible.
I’m a native New Yorker and I have managed to also live in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas and, most recently, in New Mexico – the Land of Enchantment. I’ve traveled about 2/3 of the United States, either by car or by motorhome. I’ve probably been to your beautiful state. My husband and I are currently living in Albuquerque because my two adult sons are here – and I’m just loving being near them. A mild climate, low humidity and no mosquitoes also helps.
A little about me. I’ve had many careers, including being a chemist, a school counselor and a business owner doing home remodeling with my husband. My most recent career as a licensed Life & Health insurance agent since 2016, and the owner of Compassionate Insurance Solutions, has been my most meaningful career. I’m blessed to work with teams of experts who have decades of experience in all the products I provide. I love the technical aspects of being an insurance agent in the internet world. And insurance feeds my passion for helping others.
I’ve known many clients, friends and family that have had serious health concerns in the past few years. The blessing is they’ve had peace of mind financially because of their Medicare plan choices and having streams of income they can’t outlive. They have been able to focus completely on healing.
I’ll educate you, and help you select and enroll in the plans which will best suit your personal preferences, your medical needs, your lifestyle and your finances. My wish for you is that you also have Peace of Mind, so you can focus on healing or staying healthy and a having wonderful long retirement.
It would be my honor to help you with your longevity planning to achieve your Retirement Peace of Mind.
