With a name like Blanche, you know I’m old enough to be on Medicare – and I am. Just like Blanche and the other Golden Girls, you and I all have the same worries as we get older. Our health and our finances. And, boy, they can be quite the worry, can’t they?
First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a native New Yorker that has managed to also live in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas and, most recently, in New Mexico – the Land of Enchantment. I’ve traveled about 2/3 of the United States, either by car or by motorhome. I’ve probably been to your beautiful state. I’m currently living in Albuquerque because my two sons are here – and I’m just loving being near them. A mild climate, low humidity and no mosquitoes also helps.
By the time someone gets to be my age, chances are you’ve had a few careers, and that is the case with me. I’ve been a chemist, a school counselor and owned several businesses. Most recently, I’ve been a licensed health insurance agent for several years and am the owner of Compassionate Insurance Solutions. I love the technical aspects of being a health insurance agent in the internet world. My passion is helping people and helping people with their health and Medicare insurance plans allows me to do that.
I would venture to guess that my husband and I have experienced some of your worst fears, and maybe even been in your shoes. When I enrolled him in his Medicare plans a few years ago, little did we realize that within the last three years, he would have three major surgeries, including major spinal surgery and carotid stent surgery, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. The blessing is we’ve had peace of mind financially because of his Medicare plan choices and we have been able to focus completely on his healing.
I’ll educate you, and help you select and enroll in the plans which will best suit your personal preferences, your medical needs, your lifestyle and your finances. My wish for you is that you also have Peace of Mind, so you can focus on healing or staying healthy and a having wonderful retirement. It would be my honor to help you achieve that.
